Our classes

Our mission at the phoenix is to meet our yogis where they are. beginners are welcome! and for our yogis craving more...we got you covered. Here are the class types we offer, but check our special events and workshops to explore even more:

 

Phoenix Flow 

Our signature class  is designed to connect mind, body, and spirit and will help to improve your flexibility, balance, and strength. We connect breath with movement and move through a series of poses. A moving meditation and workout all in one! Also a bonafide bad-mood-buster. What to bring: mat, towel, water. 

 

Heated Power Flow

 

It’s called The Phoenix for a reason..let’s burn! This class is a dynamic, athletic-inspired flow in our heated studio. Designed to boost strength and elevate your heart rate, you will sweat, stretch, and build physical and mental endurance. Some yoga experience is recommended. Check class times as this is offered at 60 & 75 minute lengths. What to bring: mat, towel, water.

Imagine yoga met pilates met weights.... We’re in! This class combines mindful movement with flexibility and core exercise. It will leave you feeling longer and stronger. This is a strengthening form of exercise that focuses on your core muscles while also training your arms and legs. All levels. What to bring: mat, towel, water.

Beginner Yoga

Perfect for those curious about yoga, or any yogi wanting a reset and lighter flow. No, you’re not too inflexible and it’s never too late to begin! Our judgement-free, confusing-language-free class is a great place to start. You’ll move through guided stretches and yoga poses with modifications offered for all levels. You’re already a yogi by showing up on the mat..now let’s show you how yoga can change your life! What to bring: mat, towel, water. 

 

Chair Yoga

 

Highly-requested Chair Yoga is here! Chair yoga is a modified practice that involves doing poses while seated or using a chair for balance. Great for beginners, mobility-challenged, and all-levels yogis who crave a more grounded practice.What to bring: mat, towel, water. Chairs are provided at the studio. 

 

Yin Yoga

Phoenix Founder Jen’s Fave! Calm your mind, deepen flexibility, and ease into rest with Yin Yoga. We move slowly into stretches and hold the poses for 1-

minutes or more. Think of it as a fusion of yoga movement and meditation. Make sure you have a good alarm set for the next morning as you will melt into bed that night! What to bring: mat, water. Blankets and blocks provided. 

 

Meditation

 

Quite possibly our most-needed class in this fast-paced, high-stress, digital age.You don’t have to completely empty your mind, it’s ok to fidget if you need to, you don’t have to sit in a pretzel shape. You’ll be guided into your meditation with breathwork, pose suggestion, an “anchor thought” or mantra, and then…we simply relax and “be,” and let our thoughts settle like sand in water.You’ll leave feeling calmer, lighter, and ready for the day or night. What to bring: mat, water. We provide blankets if desired. No need to wear athletic clothing, but comfortable attire suggested.
